The Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam (SSR) International Airport has been awarded the title of Best Airport in the Africa Region for 2023 in the 2 to 5 million passenger category by the Airports Council International (ACI). This ranking, part of the Airports Council International Airport Service Quality programme and released on March 11, 2024, marks the third consecutive year SSR International Airport has led this category.
