Air Connectivity: Mauritius launches / resumes new flights
The global travel industry went through tough few years since the onset of the covid-19 pandemic as the industry came to a standstill. Now that economic conditions continue to stabilize and that better times lie ahead, the Government of Mauritius is working alongside industry partners to improve air connectivity for the island. It is no secret that global air travel is inextricably linked to economic growth especially for countries that have placed reliance on the tourism sector. While some new flights have been introduced, others are increasing their capacity:

In addition to the above, the national airline, Air Mauritius will increase its flight frequency to London as from 29 October 2023, from 5 weekly flights to daily flights in a bid to meet increased demand.
